Open air exhibition of Agora photos in France.

The reality of COVID-19 confinement, as captured by Agora photographers around the world in their submissions to #StayHome, is being exhibited in Montreuil during the next few months.

The street exhibition organized by Agora and the City of Montreuil is taking place from September 4 to November 9 2020 in the Patriarche Park, Jean Jaurès Square.

Visitors will be able to admire the work of 14 international photographers selected among the finalists of the #StayHome contest, as well as those of 2 photographers from Montreuil itself.

16 photos taken at home, 16 unique stories and 16 different views on an unprecedented situation – this exhibition invites you to travel to the heart of confinement and calls for unity in order to overcome this global crisis.

In the last 8 months more than 4 billion people have had to be confined in their homes and Agora photographers have documented the exceptional situation to create a visual collective memory on this unprecedented global situation.

From France to Spain, via the United States, Indonesia and Pakistan, the #StayHome exhibition will take residents from and visitors to Montreuil to the four corners of the world to discover the reality and daily lives of COVID-19 confinement through the lens of citizens. 

Through the #StayHome exhibition, visitors will be invited to discover the dedication of citizens around the world who have attempted, on their own scale, to control the epidemic, by offering a space accessible to all that highlights the values ​​of responsibility and solidarity in the face of the pandemic.  

Each photo is accompanied by the authentic story of its author. They are proof of what we have been through and provide messages of hope that help us move forward and show that we are stronger when we move in the same direction. They are part of our collective memory, they represent all of us.
