“My name is Sebastian Burziwal (@seplb), I’m a 28 year old photographer from Vienna, Austria. One of my favorite seasons to go out and take photos is Spring. I just love the way nature slowly comes back to life after its Winter sleep. Take a look at my personal favorite top 3 techniques with regards to Spring time photography and best of luck with your submissions!”
Spring isn’t all about flowers!
“While flowers are an important part and probably the most indicating feature of Spring, there is also the great possibility to put buildings and other everyday things in a more beautiful light with the help of all the colors spring has to offer. Using architecture is a great way of creating a contrast between old and new or you could also include both human or animal subjects.”
Get creative with the natural resources around you for composition.
“Try using blossom or other greenery as a natural frame for your photographs. This also helps to make the subject of your image more unique, stand out and gives it a softer touch. “
Mix up your perspective.
“One thing I absolutely love to do when taking photos is to change my perspective. For example: try focusing on the foreground only and blur out the background. Or do it the exact other way round. I’m pretty sure you will love the results you will get!”
