Take a look at some of the original ideas other Agora photographers have executed and get planning and shooting your best shots in preparation for this Friday!

The problem.

Photographers from all over the world have taken to photojournalism to demonstrate the affects of climate change, whether that be melting sea ice, rising sea levels, water contamination or deforestation, share with the world the realities surrounding your local community or nation.

The solution.

Equally, Agora is focused on bringing about positive change and encourages photographers to also spread positive messages about the progress the world is acheiving through photography. Renewable energy plants, solar panels and wind turbines are just a few ways climate change can be tackled. How will you convey these methods with your camera?

Sustainable living.

Last year’s winning photo of #Sustainability2019 by Dimitri Weber (below) depicted a sustainable living arrangement of a community in Denmark, do you know of other sustainable living practices that you could capture and share with the world?

Local initiatives.

Recycling is perhaps one of the most widely adopted environmental practices at a local level. Agora’s mission is Power to the people, so aside from the government policy and big infrastructure solutions like demonstrated above Agora wants to see what humanity is doing around you to look after our planet earth!
