Catch that movement!

With a lot of sports, fast movement is key, so as a photographer you have to be on the ball and be ready at every moment. In addition, you need to make sure that the protagonist of the photo is sharp and focused standing out from a blurred background. Elements such as powder, steam and sweat can also transmit a sensation of power, movement and strength.

Tell the story behind the scene!

Often in sport photography, photographers focus so much on capturing the sport in action that they neglect telling the story behind it, whether it be of hard work, a win or a loss, which can be achieved by the composition, props and honing in on certain specific details. Always try to transmit an emotion because one photo can speak a thousand words.

Change up your perspective!

Be imaginative as and when you can! Take your shots from new heights or even from under the water. Find new original ways to be inventive and give your photo that unique edge.
