Meet him now and discover discover the fascinating story behind this winning shot!👇

“My name is Dimitri, I am from France and am 25 years old. I currently live in Paris and I graduated from a Master’s Degree in Communication a few months ago.

I came to love photography thanks to my father, who was always annoying our family while on vacation, taking hundreds of pictures of the same place at different exposures. Now I am the one that annoys everyone while traveling with my drone and my camera!

Our #Sustainability2020 Hero – Dimitri Weber

My winning shot was taken in Brondby, Denmark in September 2019 of an Agricultural community in the suburbs of Copenhagen in the forms of crop circles. I wanted to share this great way of living, a place where you can go on the weekend to harvest your little garden in a sustainable way, while having this sense of community with your neighbors. The weather was very cloudy at the time of the flight, and the clouds were moving quick, so I had to wait for exactly the right time to take the shot in between clouds.

These communities in the suburbs Denmark’s capital city offer its inhabitants a garden to harvest your own fruits and vegetables, while still being close to the city. It really creates a green heart where people can grow sustainable food for themselves or their neighbors with the facilities to do so.

For me, Agora is the perfect place to share the best of the best. Pictures that mean something to you and that you’re proud to show everyone. I’m so happy to have won my first contest with them and I will use the credits to enter new contests and share my view of the world once again!”
